Shrek 4 review

Well I saw shrek 4 today and I liked it. I think it,s good they are ending the series now. It,s running out of gas and also running out of story ideas. The movie is the most story driven out of the whole series. That's not a bad thing but it,s not as funny as the early ones. It,s better then the 3d one. Puss in boots is where all the best laughs come from. There is a scene where fiona asks puss who's a pretty kitty and he says me. That made me really laugh. It,s funny seeing puss looking so big, he makes you really laugh. We see fiona looking like a warrior and kicking lots of ass. It is interesting seeing the whole it's a wonderful life thing done with these characters but i think they could have done more with the idea. I think the problem is shrek started off as something both grown ups and kids could enjoy but the movies have become more for kids and that means the movies have lost that bite the early ones had. This one is more a fantasy then comedy. So don,t expect to laugh out loud. It does have it's funny bits but it's not as funny as the others were. It is a good ending. I,m glad i saw it and i,ll still buy it when it comes out so that i,ll have the whole series. Go to a early afternoon show. If you liked the others you will like this last shrek movie. I give it 2 and a half stars.
