I just read theres talk of doing a movie based on stephen kings book IT. IT is one of kings best books and it is one of his most scary and creepy novels. IT is also one of kings longest books. The book is over a 1000 pages long. They want to do IT as one movie but the good news is the movie would be rated R. Now heres the problem with doing IT as one movie, theres just too much story and too many characters to do it justice as one movie. The way i would do it is I take the backstory of the kids and do that as one movie and then take the main story of the main characters as adults and do that as movie number 2. To put it in movie terms I do the back story as the prequel and the main story as the sequel. The reason why it,s good news the movie is rated R is because too many horror movies now adays are PG-13 so that more kids and teens can see them. IT is kings most frighting, scary, bloody, gory story. IT is the stuff nightmares are made of and king pulls no punchs with his story. The movie would need to be a horror movie for adults. I may not be the huge horror fan i once was but i still would want to see IT as the biggest and best horror movie ever from one of stephen kings best books. I still want the movie version of IT to be scary as hell.
