I just posted some thoughts about the harry potter movies and theres alot of stuff i did,t get to write about, which is why i,ll update that post sometime soon. This is about how the harry potter movies needed to be longer. I know alot of people now would say movies have gotten to be too damn long. For the most part i agree with that. A lot of movies really don,t need to be as long as they are. But some movies like the harry potter series needed to be longer. I say with the 3d movie they stopped being kid/family films and started becoming real fantasy movies like the lord of the rings. The problem is warner bros has only thought of the harry potter movies as being just for kids and never saw just how big the adult fan base is for these so called kid movies. There is alot of big stuff that needed to be in each movie. Like in half blood prince in the book there is a big battle that happens at hogwarts. That was cut out of the movie but it,s something we sould have seen. Also for half blood prince we sould have seen the white tomb but again it was cut out of the movie. For movie 5 there was stuff with harrys aunt that sould have been in the movie but was cut out. For movie 3 there was alot of stuff about harrys parents that was left out of the movie. If warner bros did,t want to put out long versions for the movie theatres fine. They sould have put out longer versions of the movies on dvd. Like movie 3 sould have been 3 hrs long. movie 4 sould have been 3 and a half to 4 hrs long. movie 5 sould have been 3 hrs long. movie 6 sould have been 4 hrs long. I like to see what you harry potter fans have to say about this.
