book signing

Good news everybody, Guillermo del toro and chuck hogan will be doing a book signing this thursday at the harvard book store. It starts at 6:00. Anyone who goes sould plan on getting there as soon as you can because i have gone to a few book signings and sometimes the lines can be insanely long and depending on who it is and which bookstore your at, you may get told the person can,t write to seth from whoever it is. Right now i,m planning on going, anyone who wants to get something signed let me know.

lost series review part 2

well heres the rest of my review of lost. Season 3 ended on a big twist that we saw 2 of the characters somehow got off the island. During season 4 with this new twist, we get flash forwards that show us what the characters lives were like after they got off the island. Was this interesting hell yes. did we really need these flash forwards no i don,t think we did. I felt these flash forwards were point less for season 4. When we get to season 5 the flash forwards worked better and what i did,t like about the flash forwards were they took away the mystery of not only how the characters would get off the island but who would get off the island. Season 5 gave us alot of answers but we got have gotten a ton more answers. with season 5 we saw some of the characters time travel back to the late 1970s. I love all the star wars jokes, they were just great. Now onto the final season, it picks up right where season 5 left off and we get to see what everybodys lives would have been like if the plane did get to land in LA. I feel like as interesting as that storyline was, we did,t need to see it for the whole season. I feel that once again there was this side story that i did,t care about and i was being taken away from the main story. I feel that seasons 5 and 6 could have answered all the big questions and by the time you get to the end of the series, they don,t answer most of the big questions and had i watched lost from the very start the ending would have made me insanely mad as hell. I did like the ending but it did,t feel long enough and we sould have spent more time on the island. The ending was sad. I watched the mini episode right after the series finale and if you want answers and a happy ending make sure to watch that mini episode. Lost was a excellent show. I agree with my friends the drinkwater boys that the show really was about the characters and not whole the crazy stuff like time tavel, flash forwards, gods and monsters. It is a show that i,ll watch again and again. Lost gets 4 stars.

lost series review part 1

I just finished watching lost. It is one of the best tv shows i have watched in years. Most of whats on tv now is crap, which is why i watch alot of dvds and love watching stuff like lost on dvd. The first season is all set up for whats to come later on during the series. Lost used flash backs to not only tell us what everyones lives were like before landing on the island but it was a way of letting us get to know the characters better. I feel that starting with season 2 the flash backs were pointless and even pissed me off. I,ll tell you why the flash backs pissed me off because picture yourself reading a great story and while your enjoying the main story a side story/subplot comes up out of nowhere and your taken out of the main story. Being taken out of the main story is what pissed me off. during season 2 we start to get some answers but get more questions. Season 2 ended on another cliffhanger and during season 3 most fans were getting pissed because we were not getting enough answers but only getting more questions.

comic book news

I want to start getting the word out about my friend jim biggies comic book ROBOT GOD AKAMATSU. The comic book comes out in october. It,s old school stuff like the original transformers cartoon. It,s crazy, action packed and funny. When the comic book comes out, my friend jim will be doing a signing at new england comics in malden sq. It,s my goal to make sure the comic book store is packed for the signing. I want my friends first signing to be a big hit. When it gets near to the release date i,ll create a event page on facebook and i,ll be inviting everyone i know to the signing. I want my whole family, friends to please come to this signing. I don,t care if you don,t read comic books, I,m sure everyone has kids, grandkids, cousins you can give the comic to. I,m sure everyone has a few bucks to spend on a comic book. You never know if my friend jim becomes the next stan lee then his comic book will become worth a lot of money. You,ll be helping someone get there big break and hopfully help make him a house hold name. I know jim would do the same thing for me. I plan on asking my friends ian and allen to review the comic book on there website Omega Level and i,ll also write in to other websites like aint it cool news to review the comic book.
