Video games like pacman and donkey kong were banned in the town of marshfield over 29 years ago and it sounds like after all these years the ban will be lifted and marshfield will finally be allowed to have video games wherever they want in the town. My aunt and unlce own a food store in marshfield called the brank rock market and i love to see them get a pacman or donkey kong game in the store.

Doctor who review

Here is my review for the premire of doctor who. It starts off with a bang. The first 2 episodes were filmed here in the US. This was the first time doctor who has been filmed in the U.S.A The season starts off with the doctor being killed and then we see the doctor is alive and well. We see the doctor and his friends travel back to 1969 before the moon landing. I think the main story line for this season will be who killed the doctor and why. It was funny, shocking, it kept you guessing and it ends on a cliffhanger. I think it is off to a great start and i think this season could be even better then last year. Theres one big surprise that i don,t want to give away but it will be interesting to see how it plays out though the season.

Sad news everybody, Elisabeth Sladen who played sarah jane smith on doctor who died yesterday. She was 63 years old. She was my favorite actress on the original doctor who. They were already filming series 5 of her show the sarah jane adventures. They have 5 epiodes already filmed for the new series. I wonder what they will do about her show. I hope they don,t recast the part, she was and always will be SARAH JANE SMITH to me and all doctor who fans.

scream 4 review

I may update or change this review tomorrow or at some point if i see the movie again. Here are my first thoughts on scream 4, it,s 100 times better then the last movie. Just so people know where i,m coming from, I loved scream 1 and 2 but did,t like part 3. This was a good movie. The idea of it being a remake or reboot of the series is such a great idea but they just don,t do enough with the idea. They make fun of the saw movies by saying theres been 7 stab movies. For anyone who knows these movies thats the movie series within the scream films. The opening of the movie was fun, cool and funny. The original cast was good, everyone knows no one will win any oscars for the acting in these movies. It did have some good funny bits and lines. Yes it,s more bloody then scary. I feel this one could have been as smart,scary and funny as the first one but it missed the mark. There were a few times it did go too over the top. Oh forget what you have heard or read online but all of the original cast live though this one. Reviewing stuff like scream 4 is not as easy as it used to be. People know i did like the bloody, gore stuff but now i really don,t care about it. I went to see this new one because it has gotten mostly good reviews and i,m still a fan of the series. I would give it 3 stars.

random thought of the day

The comic book store i go to, today was the managers last day. He,s been the manager of this store for 16 years and he is a good guy. The store had alot of great deals today. I picked up some superman tradebacks, a hulk tradeback, a new godzilla comic book.

andrew

On monday it will be 5 years since andrew died. I can,t believe it,s been 5 years, that does not seem possible. This is not easy for me, i don,t know what to say. I been trying not to think about it because it just makes me sad. I was in the car with mom one day and we started talking about how andrews ann was coming up soon and i said i been trying not to think about it and i started to cry a little bit. I,m crying as i type this. This is a hard time of year for all of us. I been rereading a star wars book andrew got me one year for xmas or my bday. I always try to watch funny stuff around this time of year to make myself feel better. Like i wrote about on my blog, we are having a get together tomorrow to remember andrew and talk about him and his life. My parents really want his friends to tell lots of storys about andrew. Mom just said things were never boring with andrew and that is true. On monday we are going to andrews grave and put a little flower on his grave for every year he,s been gone. It was katies idea to do that. Andrew would be excited that the baseball season just started and he be watching the games with dad and his friends. Andrew always loved going to red sox games. I miss andrew so much. I love you andrew. I wish you could have gotten to know luke, he,s such a awesome little kid or as katie calls him, a little man. I wish you could have met my godson connor.

family day

We are having a family get together this sunday to remember andrew. Monday will be 5 years since he died. I,m sure that i,ll write something on my blog over the weekend. One thing i like to do on my blog is a list of andrews fave movies, songs, video games, stuff like that and if people can help me with it that be great. We will have food but it is a bring your own booze type deal.

Well doctor who series 6 starts saturday 4-23 at 9:00 on BBC. They are cutting up the season, we will get the first 6 episodes this spring and get the last 7 episodes this fall.
