review of james bond book

I finished reading the new james bond book and it was good. I liked it. This new book is rebooting the book version of 007. The books have been like the movies in that bond became ageless and they never talked about how old he was. In this new book bond is around my age 34, the rest of our fave characters are back like M, miss moneypenny, felix, mary goodnight, bill tanner. I have to tell everyone we do see Q but it,s not our Q we know and love, it,s a brand new character, I would rather the author had given the character a new nickname. The author changes bonds history so that if this new book becomes a big enough hit to become a new series there will be a ongoing storyline about how bonds mother might have been a spy. The bad guys were business men for this first book, so no new dr.no, goldfigner type bad guys yet. I could picture the book being a good 007 movie. The story is decent, the action is good, we see bond acting like a spy instead of like a superhero, 007 does have some new gadgets to play with, it,s stuff you could believe it to be real. There are some good bond girls in this book. It makes for good summer reading. We see 007 in some hand to hand fights and see some good gun battles. I give it 3 stars. I,m going to reread some of the original james bond books.
