ramdom thought of the day

I went out to dinner tonight with my family for my aunts 70th birthday and I was talking to one of my cousins and he said he thinks scarface is a better movie then the godfather. I said i disagree with that and i think the godfather is the better movie. My cousin likes scarface better because it,s more action packed. So heres my thoughts on both movies, scarface is a great movie, does have alot of action, good story and good acting. The godfather is a classic movie with a excellent story, great cast, the acting from everyone is excellent, it grabs you right from the first scene and never lets go. It works both as a mob story and a family story. Both movies are bloody but scarface can be gory as hell. I can still watch the godfather and enjoy the movie but scarface is in my mind more of a drug movie instead of being a mob movie and thats why i,ll never watch scarface again because it is a drug movie. So i want to ask everyone what do you think is the better movie scarface or the godfather?
