My best friend jim biggie did a cover for the G.I. JOE comic book series last year and a comic book website called comicsalliance.com did a list of the best comic book covers of last year and they picked my friend jims G.I.JOE cover as being one of the best of last year. I,m so happy and excited for him. Jim is a great artiest and his artwork has always been excellent. everybody now knows what a great artiest he really is. I think this honor just goes to show this will be his year.

doctor who news

I read that we will see the 2nd half of series 7 this spring. I think that the premire date is 3-30. We will see the big 50th anniversary episode in the fall. It will be a 1 hr long episode. We will see a adventure in space and time in the fall. It will be 90 mins long and it,s about the early days of the show. Starting this sunday night 1-27 BBC america will be airing old episodes of doctor who one every month for the rest of the year. They will start with the first doctor story the aztecs.

goodbye mike

I still can,t believe my friend mike has died. for people who don,t know mike had cancer about 15 years ago and becuase of all the chemo treatments and everything else, mike had next to no immune and when mike would get just a cold, it would be like someone else getting the flu, it would kick his butt. becuase of this mike would be in and out of the hospital alot for the rest of his life. he even got the grown up chicken pox and since they did,t catch it in time, mike lost sight in one of his eyes. mike never gave up, he was always a fighter, he never let things get him down. because of one of the many times he got sick, mike was told he have to be housebound for a long time so someone, I forget who gave mike a set of legos to help kill some time. whoever gave mike that set of legos, ended up giving mike a hobby that he would love for the rest of his life. I bet no one knows there are lego cons all around the world and not just mike but other grown ups love to play with legos. the stuff mike made was awesome, it was better then anything the lego company makes. Mike even got to know people that work for the lego company and they loved his stuff so much they asked him if he like to work for them. He would say no because the job would have meant he have to move far away and mike did,t want to do that. When it came to legos, mike had a real talent. Mike will always be one of the nicest,happest guys I will ever know. Mike did,t have a mean bone in his whole body. He was always happy, always had a smile on his face, had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh. I gave mike the nickname the duke, he had something done to his leg and he walked like john wayne so he got the name duke. Mike also had the nickname count blockula because of his love of horror movies and legos. Mike is still the only person I have seen put candy corn on his pizza and eat it. I got to see the big apple and merry old london with mike. I remember our first night in london, jim or mike made some joke and we all laughed and we did,t stop laughing for like 20 mins, because once one of us stopped laughing, someone else would start to laugh and it went on like that for 20 mins or a half hr. I will miss you mike. you will always be one of my best friends.

I read that we may see the return of twin peaks. we could mybe see a 3d season of the show that would pick up from where the show left off and it would take place today. theres hope that most of the cast would come back.

book review of ash

WELL HERES MY FIRST REVIEW OF THE NEW YEAR. I JUST FINISHED READING JAMES HERBERTS NEW BOOK ASH, IT,S THE 3D BOOK IN HIS DAVID ASH SERIES. THE FIRST BOOK WAS HAUNTED, WHICH IS A HAUNTED HOUSE STORY, BOOK 2 IS THE GHOSTS OF SLEATH, IT,S ABOUT A HAUNTED TOWN. THIS NEW BOOK I WAS LEAD TO BELIEVE WAS ABOUT A HAUNTED CASTLE. JAMES HERBERTS FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING A LONG TIME FOR A NEW STORY ABOUT DAVID ASH, I BELIEVE THE 2ND BOOK CAME OUT SOMETIME IN THE 90S. THIS BOOK WAS NOT WORTH THE WAIT. MY PROBLEM WITH IT IS THAT IT TAKES TOO DAMN LONG TO GET STARTED. IT TAKES 125 OR 150 PAGES FOR THE MAIN CHARACTER DAVID ASH JUST TO GET TO THE CASTLE. NOW THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A SECOND, IT TAKES WELL OVER A 100 PAGES TO GET DAVID ASH TO THE DAMN CASTLE WHEN HE SOULD HAVE GOTTEN THERE BY PAGE 10,20,MYBE 30. I WAS BORED OUT OF MY MIND, UNLESS A BOOK GRABS ME RIGHT OFF THE BAT, IT WILL TAKE ME LONGER TO MYBE GET INTERESTED IN THE STORY. WHEN I START TO GET BORED WITH THE STORY I,M READING THEN IT BECOMES WORK FOR ME TO KEEP READING IT AND HOPE IT WILL GET BETTER SOON. BY THE TIME SOMETIME GHOSTLY HAPPENS, ALL I COULD THINK OF IS IT,S ABOUT TIME SOMETHING SCARY HAPPENED. JAMES HERBERT RIPS OFF POTLERGEIST AND A DARIO ARGENTO MOVIE FOR ONE GROSS OUT SCENE. NOT ENOUGH GOOD STUFF HAPPENS AND IT,S MOSTLY TALKING. JAMES HERBERT WANTS YOU THE READER TO BELIEVE YOUR READING A GHOST STORY AND GUESS WHAT YOUR NOT READING A GHOST STORY. IT,S MORE LIKE BAD AWFUL STUFF HAPPENS AT A NUT HOUSE AND IT,S ALSO A LITTLE BIT OF A SPY STORY. IF THIS WERE A MOVIE IT WOULD BE 90 MINS OR 2 HRS LONG AND I SAY THAT WAS A BAD MOVIE AND QICKLY FORGET ABOUT IT BUT SINCE I WASTED HOURS AND DAYS OF MY LIFE READING THIS BOOK, I GOT SO PISSED OFF THAT I WANTED TO TOSS THE BOOK ACROSS THE ROOM. I WOULD LOVE TO SAY TO JAMES HERBERT THANKS FOR WASTING SO MUCH OF MY TIME,NOW GIVE ME BACK THAT TIME YOU JERK. MY 4 YEAR OLD NEPHEW OR 1 YEAR OLD GODCHILD COULD HAVE WRITTEN A BETTER BOOK THEN THIS. IF YOU CAN,T TELL BY NOW, I HATED THE BOOK. I,M GOING TO TAKE IT TO BARNES AND NOBLE AND SEE IF I CAN EXCHANGE IT FOR SOMETHING GOOD. DON,T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS BOOK.

HERE ARE THE TEN BEST MOVIES I SAW LAST YEAR. THE AVENGERS, SKYFALL, ARGO, CABIN IN THE WOODS, DJANGO UNCHAINED, THE HOBBIT, WRECK IT RALPH, TED, SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS, THE WOMAN IN BLACK. I KNOW I JUST SAW DJANGO UNCHAINED TODAY BUT I,M STILL COUNTING IT AS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES OF 2012.

NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY. I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A SAFE AND FUN NEW YEARS EVE. MY GOALS FOR THIS NEW YEAR IS TO DO MORE WITH MY BLOG AND MAKE IT EVEN BETTER. I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT WRITING MY OWN ZOMBIE EPIC FOR YEARS NOW AND I MAY FINALLY GIVE MYSELF THE KICK IN THE BUTT TO TRY TO WRITE IT. NOW THAT ROBERT PARKER IS GONE, I HAVE BEEN THINKING OF TRYING TO WRITE MY OWN MYSTERY SERIES LIKE THE SPENSER BOOK SERIES. MY SERIES WOULD MOSTLY TAKE PLACE IN BOSTON BUT WOULD ALSO TAKE PLACE IN MELROSE. MY BOOKS WOULD BE LIGHT AND FUNNY. THE MAIN CHARACTER WOULD PRETTY MUCH BE ME, JUST PICTURE ME AS A P.I. AND THATS WHAT I,M AIMING FOR WITH THE CHARACTER. THE BEST BOOK I READ WAS READY PLAYER ONE. THE MOVIE THAT SURPRISED ME THE MOST WAS CABIN IN THE WOODS. I WILL WRITE A TOP LIST OF THE MOVIES I SAW IN 2012.
